So you know how you guys in America have ‘No shave november’. Well, in Australia we have ‘Movember’ (that’s a combo of moustache and November). So it’s the same thing, but with a way cooler name. And you know what happened in Melbourne last Movember? THEY FREAKING PUT MOUSTACHES ON OUR TRAMS!
IT WAS AWESOME!
MANCHESTER MUST DO THIS!!

@10 months ago with 280113 notesFind where your surname is most common
- Spain
- Argentina
- France
- Switzerland
- Belgium
(via thattomlinsonsass)
1. United Kingdom
2. Australia
3. New Zealand
4. United States
5. Ireland
But, interestingly, of the five regions it’s most common in, one is Yorkshire and the Humber and one is the generic North of England. Weird that in years and years of having my surname passed down, nobody in the English side of my family has left where it originated from.
The top city for my surname is Manchester, i.e. where I’m at university/living now. Weird!
